Navionics Platinum Wins NMEA Award
Multi-dimensional charting and navigation product combines navigational charts with satellite and aerial-photo overlays

Wareham, Mass. – Navionics, the leader in electronic cartography, announced today that Platinum, its multi-dimensional electronic cartography, has won the 2007 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Industry Award in the Marine Specialty category. Awarded at the annual NMEA Convention & Expo at the Amelia Island Plantation and Resort in Jacksonville, Florida last week, the highly prized honor recognized Platinum charts for excellence in innovation, design, performance and reliability in marine navigation. Award winners are selected by a secret ballot vote of NMEA members, made up of distributors, dealers, sales representatives, and other industry professionals.
