Cleat installation can often be the source of headaches, with special tools and difficult cut-outs required. To relieve boaters of the nuisances of this task, Accon Marine introduces the 332-8 Folding Cleat, the newest addition to its line of intelligently designed deck hardware.

The 8" folding cleat mounts directly to the surface of the boat. It eliminates the need for cut-outs and hole saws, making installation one of the simplest in the industry. By drilling two holes with standard drill bits for the mounting screws, the cleat is securely fastened to the deck. The cleat's sealed base prevents water from entering the boat so there is no need for drain tubes or receptacles.

Like the rest of Accon's line of folding cleats, the 332-8 locks down when not needed and springs up when the release button is pushed. This feature reduces tripping hazards and the chances of snagged lines. Polished to a bright finish, the cleat is constructed of marine-grade 316 stainless steel.

Retail price of the 8" Folding Cleat from Accon Marine is $105.16.
